“Can I add two accounts, a loan and savings together?”
Can Student visa funds be split across multiple bank accounts?
Short answer
Eligible funding sources can be combined. Every account and evidence type must independently satisfy the rules that apply to it, and the combined eligible total must cover the requirement throughout the relevant 28-day period.
Combination does not relax eligibility
FIN 8.3 permits evidence of one or a combination of the listed funding methods. An ineligible account does not become eligible merely because another valid account is also submitted.
Align the evidence dates
For personal or parental savings, the evidence must show that the combined qualifying amount was available throughout the full holding period. Different statement cycles can make that harder to demonstrate clearly.
Transfers between your accounts
Moving money can create an apparent gap or double-counting risk. Keep records that show the same money leaving one eligible account and arriving in another, and seek regulated advice if the evidence no longer plainly covers every day.
